By HIROSHI FUKUDA This is a report on the Japantown Better Neighborhoods Plan focus group meetings I have attended. One of the first things the city planners said was, "We know you want more housing in Japantown." My thought was, "Says who?" The Planning Department, the Mayor, the Board of Supervisors, Spur, Transit First, and the Bicycle Coalition, that's who. They have BIG plans for Japantown and the rest of the City.
